About the Facility
Nagasaki Dejima Harbor is a public harbor with guest berths located in the heart of Nagasaki City. Right in front of the harbor, you’ll find the Dejima Wharf restaurant district, a clubhouse, the large shopping mall “Youme Town,” the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum, and the expansive “Waterfront Park.”
It serves as a convenient base for cruising, with access to destinations within a day’s reach such as Hirado, the Kujuku Islands, the Goto Islands, Gunkanjima (Battleship Island), Takashima, the Shimabara Peninsula, and Amakusa. You can also reach Iki, Tsushima, and the Koshiki Islands.
The harbor is also conveniently located for sightseeing, near major cultural and historical sites such as the “Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region” and the “Sites of Japan’s Meiji Industrial Revolution,” including the Mitsubishi Shipyard’s Giant Cantilever Crane.
With excellent access, it is an 8-minute walk from the bus terminal for airport express buses, a 15-minute walk from JR Nagasaki Station, and just a 2-minute drive from the Dejima Road exit.
